Apostle Dr. John T. Graham received Christ in his life at the age of 21 and began preaching at the age of 25. In 1971, the Lord used him to found the Temple United Church located in Wilmington, Delaware. The church became officially incorporated as a religious non-profit organization and corporation in 1972.

He enrolled in the Philadelphia College of Bible through correspondence and completed the “Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth” course with an “A” average. He later enrolled in the Interdenominational Bible Institute in Dover, Delaware and received his Bachelor of Theology degree in 1984. Apostle Dr. Graham continued his biblical studies by enrolling in the Enlightened Bible Institute in Houston, Delaware and received his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies, in 2007, through the Exodus School of the Bible in Cleveland, Mississippi. He is presently on the faculty of the Enlightened Bible Institute in Houston, Delaware and serves as the President of the New Castle County site. On July 13, 2016, he earned his Doctorate in Biblical Studies through the Calvary Bible Institute in Dover, Delaware, which is an affiliate of the Friends International Christian University in Merced, California. On September 3, 2021, Apostle Dr. Graham released “The Audacity of Faith” in print form exclusively on Amazon.

He is the Founder and has been the Pastor of the Temple United Church, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware for 52 years. He is the Overseer of nine churches and outreach ministries: Holy Temple Church of Deliverance in Savannah, Georgia, Kingdom Sisters United in Wilmington, Delaware, My Father’s House Ministries in Milford, Delaware, The Sanctuary Church in Worton, Maryland, Rebuilder’s Faith Ministries, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware, Recovering the Kingdom for Christ in Wilmington, Delaware, Resurrection Power House in Savannah, Georgia, Second Chances Outreach Ministry Worldwide, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland and True Church of Christ in Stanton, Delaware.

He is married to his wife of 19 years, Prophetess Matrue Graham. He is the father of 3 children, Deacon Robert Hargrow, Reginald Hargrow and Youth Pastor Mary Mays. He is a loving brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, godfather, spiritual father and mentor to many.

Apostle Dr. Graham has the motto: “If I can just help somebody, then my living will not be in vain!”. He will tell everybody that he “Would rather preach than eat!” and for all of his accomplishments he will say “To God Be The Glory!”. He yet believes that “If it had not been for the Lord, who saved him in due time, none of these things would be afforded to Him!”.
